Did you already heard about the healthy Matcha powder? I really do love it and I will explain you also why. But first, let me explain you what is Matcha and where does it come from? It is specially grown and processed green tea. The traditional Chinese and Japanese tea ceremony centers on the preparation, serving, and drinking of matcha as hot tea and embodies a meditative spiritual style. In modern times, matcha also has come to be used to flavor foods. For example matcha lattes, green tea ice cream or soba noodles.
And why is matcha so healthy?
EGCG (cancer fighter)
Finally, I would like to come back and answer the question, why I do love the Matcha powder. This healthy, green, magic powder is my perfect start in the day. Every morning I drink a teacupful of Matcha and it gives me enough energy to go trough the day. Furthermore, I do love the taste of Matcha! I really recommend to try this magical green powder! 🙂

A new day, a new recipe. Last week I was tired about eating all the time more or less the same tipe of food and therefore I tried out the recipe below. I recived the tipp for this delicious recipe of a lovely friend of mine. Many thanks – it was not the last time I have cooked this meal! 😊 The best of all is, it not even looks very tasty – it is really tasty 😃! I am sure, you are going to like it.
Pelati (peeled tomatoes)
1 red pepper
vegetarian minced meat (you can make the recipe also with «normal» minced meat)
Oven: 180 degrees
Slice the 2 tomatoes, 1 zucchini and 1 red pepper and put them in a pan.
After add the minced meat and mixe all ingredients together. Cook them for a while. Add pepper and salt as much as you like.
In the meantime slice the other 2 zucchinis as thin as possible.
When everything is cooked, add the pelati (peeled tomatoes). Now fill up the slices zucchinis with the minced meat-tomato-zucchini-red pepper-pelati (peeled tomatoes) mix. Roll them.
Put the food in the oven for about 20 minutes.
At least I have put some basil leaves over the meal.
Finish: now it is time to eat! Enjoy this delicious meal and it would be a pleasure for me to receive some reactions from your side☺!
Before you go to run, it is very important to get enough energy. This is possible with the right selection of foods.
Read below, which foods are recommended:
Bananas are filled with natural sugar, which your body will burn for energy.
Low fat yoghurt is rich in calcium, protein and carbs. The calcium will help to promote healthy fat burning, the protein will provide the fuel for your muscles and the carbs will give you energy you need.
Bagels are much heavier and richer in carbs than your average slice of bread, so they give you a lot more energy to burn.
Berries are good for a quick energy boost. They are like little balls of healthy sugar and they contain lots of Vitamin C to keep your body working at top speed.
The autumn is here… it is getting colder and colder in Switzerland. But the weather is still very nice and the sun shines the whole day. The right time to try out my new recipe – delicious and healthy kiwi ice cream. Yummy. I am curious about your Feedback :)!
1 dl of water
1 tablespoon of honey
Peal three kiwis and put them in a bowl.
Add the water and one tablespoon of honey. Purée all ingredients.
Peal one kiwi and slice it. Give one slice in each ice blocks.
Fill up the ice blocks with the purée ingredients.
Put them for a minimum of six hours in the freezer.
Another delicious summer drink – easy to make and it was also extremly refreshing during the short but hot period in Switzerland. Put the raspberries, blackberry, currant and blueberries with a handful of fresh mint leaves into your water to create an incredible mix of flavours, which I think you’ll love – it just tastes like summer!
– 1 punnet of frozen raspberries
– 1 punnet of frozen blackberry
– 1 punnet of frozen currant
– 1 punnet of frozen blueberries
– a handful of mint leaves
I use frozen berries to keep the water cool. To add strawberries is a further option to give your summer drink a personal touch.
This is one of the best summer drinks, it’s so cooling and refreshing, and so delicious – it’s been my saviour over the last few weeks as it’s been so hot in Bern! The lemon slices and fresh mint all infuse into your water to create an incredible mix of flavours, which I think you’ll love – it just tastes like summer! I love making a big jug of this and keeping it in the fridge all day so that I can enjoy it any time, or if I’m out and about all day I’ll sometimes fill a big water bottle with this mix so that I stay hydrated all day and I never forget to drink water this way as it’s so delicious!
